HWCC CLUB
OVERVIEW

Founded in 1924, we are a well established club offering cycling to all abilities across many disciplines.

The club organises  weekly club runs, training , social rides, tours, racing and trips abroad. In recent years these trips have included an annual training camp to Mallorca, and several weekends in Belgium to ride cobbled sportives.

Many of our members have progressed into racing, and over the years,  we have produced highly accomplished cyclists across many disciplines.  Read our story.

We pride ourselves as being welcoming, friendly and inclusive while also aiming to uphold our racing heritage.

Road riding and racing form a major part of our activities, but for those that aren’t afraid of mud,  we also offer popular and regular off-road rides and many of our members race cyclocross through the winter.  Although we are proud of our racing heritage, we are a sociable and friendly club, who encourage participation in events at all levels.

Wednesday evening is our club night at West Wycombe Village Hall. There are are regular turbo sessions in the winter, and Chaingang and off-road rides in the summer. Afterwards we chat over tea and cake in the village hall, or head next door to the pub.

Weekend club runs meet at 9:00am on Saturday at Stratton Road car park in Princes Risborough and 9:00am on Sunday at the Guildhall in High Wycombe.  If you are new to riding in a group, we have steady rides on Sundays where the emphasis is on learning to ride in a group and socialising.

We love riding bikes and we’d love you to come and join us!
